Area: 222 m2
Execution: 2018

The architects of this house reformed the building and exteriors maintaining the simple, harmonious and rustic style that characterizes the houses of Cala d’Or in Mallorca. The vegetation, therefore, had to continue in this line.
The Mediterranean garrigue of the surrounding area, with Olea europaea, mastics, carob trees and Rhamnus alaternus, was a source of inspiration. The garden plants, with a perennial bush structure, create organic shapes with different shades of green and grey.
The creeping lantanas and Gaura provide spots of colour, while the Stipa grass adds movement. The trees, chosen for their Mediterranean and rustic appearance, give height to the garden and create an attractive shadowy area in the summer.
The entire planting area is covered with pine bark, which imitates the pine tree environment and evokes the feeling to being in a small forest, which was the intention from the beginning.
