This landscaping project of a five stars hotel is located within an hotel complex and a convention centre right close to the sea. Therefore, this project is contemplated as an entire piece, following the same line of design in order to give harmony to the whole complex. The surrounding pinewood and the saline winds are essential for inspiring the style of the landscaping project and approaching the planting and functionality of the garden.
The great selection of plants responds to a Mediterranean style, not only for its adaptation to the climate and land, but also for its leaves’ tones. They move from a dark green colour, such as Phyllereas to a grey tones, like Westringias and lavenders. The entrance is delimited with a stairway which reproduces an area of loose stones with a great amount of grasses, like Stipas and Muhlenbergias; and at some points flowers like Limonium and Centranthus ruber are used in order to give a wild and natural look to the area. The grass fields are exclusively used in the area surrounding the pool, since this space is used for the guests’ sun beds.
